Summer is almost here, and we're excited to welcome everyone back to Blooming Fields Lavender Farm! 🌸

This season we're open Tuesday-Sunday from 10 AM-3 PM from May through September, with plenty to enjoy throughout the summer:

🌿 Farm tours all season long
💜 U-pick lavender in July during bloom season
🌱 Lavender plant starts
🛍️ Our farm store featuring products handcrafted right here on the farm

One of our favorite things is sharing what happens behind the scenes — from growing and harvesting lavender to distilling our own essential oils and creating products right here on the farm. Whether you're visiting with family, friends, a homeschool group, church group, garden club, or just looking for a peaceful afternoon, we'd love to help your group plan a farm visit, u-pick experience or tour.

We recently published a short article about what's coming up this season. You can read it on our News page here:

As a small family-run farm, word of mouth means everything to us. If you know someone who loves local farms, gardening, lavender, or unique North Idaho experiences, we'd be so grateful if you'd share this post and help spread the word.

We can't wait to see you in the fields this summer! 🌸

There’s something that happens when you walk into a field of lavender in full bloom. The smell hits first. Then the sound — bees, everywhere, working. Then the color.

We love sharing this place. 🌸

Farm tours are available this season — small groups, unhurried, with a peek into our distillation process and the story of how our products are made from plant to bottle.

Blooms are expected to start early July and last through the end of the month, but timing can vary depending on weather. Tours run June thru August!

Tours require advance booking and are $5 per person, children under 2 are free.

➡️ Start planning your summer and book your tour through our website — link in bio. Spots are limited and we’d love to see you here. 🌱

📩 Send us a message if you’d like to organize a farm tour for a school, church, club, or other group!

Wow! Flattered to come across this lovely article featuring our farm. Read to learn more about the magic in our fields and join us in getting excited for blooms this season! Probably just over a month to go🌸

Lavender season in Idaho starts smelling suspiciously expensive once purple fields near Athol turn an ordinary drive into accidental spa therapy.

Something is stirring out here. 🌿

The lavender is pushing new growth — soft and green and full of promise 🌱 The rows that went quiet in winter are waking back up, and we’re out here every day watching it happen. Bloom is still weeks away, but this part — the slow return, the first green, the farm finding its rhythm again — this part is worth paying attention to. July blooms are coming. We’ll be here, soaking in all of it. Follow along. 🌸

Our small-batch farm store is open through September — farm-distilled oils, soaps, teas, and more.

🌿 The farm store will be opening its doors for the 2026 season starting May 2nd at Blooming Fields Lavender Farm in Athol!

While the lavender isn’t blooming just yet, everything in our shop starts right here on the farm. We grow, harvest, distill, and make our lavender products on site using simple, natural ingredients.

The store is fully stocked for the season with our small-batch handcrafted products made here at the farm including essential oils, moisturizing salves, lavender-infused honey, handcrafted lavender tea, and more.

If you visit, you’re welcome to walk around the fields and farm. It’s a quieter time before bloom, but a peaceful place to stop.

The lavender usually begins blooming around July, when the farm and fields come to life with colorful blooms, busy pollinators, and visitors from all over.

If you enjoy local, farm-made products and seeing where things are made, we’d love to have you visit!

I just love this time of year — I can’t help but start to look forward to summertime! Even now, the plants are silently working under the soil, building the foundations for this summers blooms. Late winter is filled with new beginnings, fresh life, and warming earth beneath our feet. 🌸

Tonight marks the Winter Solstice — the longest night of the year. 🌛❄️

Out in the fields, everything is quiet and resting beneath the snow. But inside the greenhouse, life is beginning again. Small lavender starts are taking root, slowly and steadily, even in the darkest part of the season.

Winter is our off-season in the fields, a time for patience and trust in what’s growing unseen. This is where next summer begins. 🌸

12/12/2025

It’s almost that time of year — sharing thoughtful gifts, smiles, and cozy memories.

If you’re still looking for something special, we have plenty of our locally grown, farm-made lavender products in stock!

Our farm store may be closed, but the online shop is open through the end of the year.
Local? We offer $5 local delivery on your entire order!

Feel free to reach out with any questions.
Wishing you a warm and happy holiday season! 🎄❄️

Even though our lavender fields are resting, we’re not. We don’t fully turn “off” in the off-season.

Right now we’re busy…
🎁 Stocking up products for holiday orders
🧴 Refreshing the farm store for next season
🌱 Growing new lavender cuttings for future fields
📝 Dreaming up workshops, tours, and 2026 experiences

After the holidays, our online shop takes a winter break until spring so we can recharge, reconnect, and come back with fresh inspiration.

When the ground thaws, we’ll reopen—restocked, renewed, and ready to welcome you back to the farm.

What part of farm life are you most curious about?

We’d love to share more behind-the-scenes this winter.
