Help our rescue repair from this winters craziness. Between soft ground and the wind destroying a shelter we have some repairs to do. Hello, my name is George. I'm a 1 year old Anatolian Great Pyrenees mix that's had a hard start to life. When I was born my breeders did not treat us well and animal controll got involved. Animal controll got all of us to Ducksberg Farm and we started to thrive. After some vet visit and a national fund raiser to help our feet I went up for adoption. After searching forever for my forever home, I found one. Unfortunately after 3 months it was decided it was not the right fit and I came back to the farm. I now have been back on the farm for 6 months and I am thriving.
I'm looking for a home that will take the time to earn my trust and will allow me to show you what a good boy I am. I do great with other dogs and livestock, but I have not been around cats or birds. I am a inside dog that needs a spot I can hide, I love under the bed. A stay at home parent would be great fit for me. If you think you have what it takes to earn my love please reach out. I can't wait to show my forever family what a good boy I am.

***HELP US FIND GEORGE'S FOREVER HOME***
George has had a busy month since he's been back on the farm. Eatting, chewing on bones, running around looking cool and playing with Stella. Hes now neuter as of last Friday (he was not happy about it) and got his rabies shot. He is also microchip!

We are looking for a home that has the time to break down his brick wall and win his trust. A work from home parent would be great for this boy. He needs someone who will take him on adventures during the day and cuddle him at night. Once he knows he's in a safe place, this guy lights up the room with his love.

Please help us find his real forever home. He deserves it. We will transport to the right family. Even if it's far away!

George update: In one week we have seen this dog go from completely broken to a puppy again. The tail wags, the running and playing has brought us so much joy. He has gotten a new harness, dewormmed, and first round of shots with the donations he received. Unfortunately we are in a predicament. Our two intact males are not getting along with him like we hoped. So we are left with 2 options.

Option 1 is getting our two males fixed to lower the hormones in the house so everyone has a safe spot to live. This will cost around $600 to do through better together animal alliance which has opening this coming week

Option 2 is finding him a home where he can thrive. This home will need to be able to spend the time needed with him to bond and a nice fenced yard for him to run and play in. We prefer no tiny kids, and really a dogless household might be best due to his past. We really don't want him to leave but we need to ensure he gets the best home he will ever get.

As we posted yesterday on our personal page, we thought we should share with the rest of you guys. One of the great Pyrenees anatolian mix puppys we took in and you guys supported for is back home on the farm. This poor guy is in rough shape. We were told he was using the bathroom inside and not eatting. You can tell he was not eatting.

In the past 21 hrs he has eatting 2 big bowls of food and has not had any accidents inside. We have started him on a pre-probiotic and will be getting dewormed today. We are going to start his puppys shots over again since we have a strong feeling they did not finish them. We are also trying to get him into a vet so we can be sure there is no underlying medical problem.

George is home for good now, there is no way we can let him back out into the world and have this happened again. Our motto is we are here for every animal we put out into the world, and just because we don't have them here doesn't mean we won't be here for them if they need us.

Well Mr Tony went to his new home today and Stacy will be going to hers tomorrow. So that leaves George who is very ready for his new home. This handsome boy is an amazing dog. If anyone is interested in a new friend, let us know!
