Come and get ‘em! Mini eggs- 2/$6!

After selling out of eggs on Saturday, this week we are reducing the price of our mini eggs (available at Atkins Raw Milk Dairy) to 2 for $6. These eggs are from our adolescent hens who haven’t graduated to the big leagues yet. They have a higher yolk ratio, which for bakers can be a bonus.

Tomorrow we will be adding to our flock to meet demand, but in the event that we sell out at the raw dairy today we hope this change tides you over!

WOW!
It’s been a crazy (but productive) few weeks around here, and I’m finally sitting down to post about it. The stretch of dry weather we had kept us moving along with spring field work -from planting crops, harvesting cover crops and harvesting our first cutting of alfalfa. I’ve attached several pics with descriptions of what we did. We figured J spent about 165 hours in the field during a 15 day stretch (that doesn’t even include the hours he spent doing the daily cow chores!)
