We were surprised with a set of triplets this weekend! 2 girls and a boy! It’s quite rare for a cow to have triplets, let alone triplets that are healthy and thriving!

The last bales of the season! We made a really nice amount of hay this summer. The cows will be happy!

We spent the last few days working on chopping haylage for the cows - the same alfalfa we use for our dry hay bales, just harvested at a higher moisture content and then stored in the long white plastic bags. It’s fermented to help preserve its quality and nutrients — and the cows LOVE it!
