Braselton Farmers Market Kicks Off Weekly Season May 1

BRASELTON, GA — April 30, 2026 - The Braselton Farmers Market is kicking off its weekly summer season, bringing fresh, local goods and community experiences to the heart of downtown Braselton every Friday from 4:00–7:00 PM on the Town Green.

Beginning May 1, residents and visitors are invited to shop an open-air market featuring local farmers, bakers, and artisan food producers. “Grown here. Made here. Sold here.” This guiding theme reflects the market’s commitment to strengthening the connection between local producers and the community. From their farms and kitchens to your fork, the market continues to reconnect Braselton with its rich agricultural roots—bringing goods directly from producers to the people who enjoy them.

Select Fridays throughout the season will feature special programming and family-friendly activities, including scavenger hunts, a watermelon-themed day, a pumpkin painting contest, and food drives benefiting local hunger relief initiatives, as well as a LIVE from Braselton ‘80s concert on May 15.

The Braselton Farmers Market is sponsored by the Braselton Visitors Bureau Authority. Tourism Director Lauren Leonard shared the importance of the initiative, stating:

“This market is about more than shopping—it’s about strengthening connections between local producers and the community. By bringing farmers, makers, and residents together in one place, we’re supporting Georgia agriculture while increasing access to fresh, locally grown food. These efforts help build a stronger local economy, support small business growth, and promote healthier food choices for families in the area.”
