Happy Juneteenth Fre fam!
Today, let’s celebrate African American culture and pay homage to our ancestors for enduring the racial systematic inequalities that have existed since the beginning of time.
Today, we acknowledge the day “freedom” was proclaimed on June 19, 1865 by Union Major General Gordon Granger and his troops.
Today … we recognize progress.
There’s more work to be done and freedom still dangles between the eyes of minorities.
Take today and every other day to walk in your power and make a positive change in the right direction. Demand equal rights. Demand respect. Demand continued progression. Demand Support. Demand freedom. And, do your part in the activism.
