Happy day! A long message but an important one when considering our local farmers. Yesterday, we received a heartbreaking message from our local dahlia farmer. An unexpected frost had swept through, and she feared she had lost her entire crop of beautiful dahlias.
Then, late last night, came the wonderful news that she had been able to salvage most of them!
Itโs moments like these that remind us just how much goes into growing the beautiful flowers and fresh produce we so often take for granted. Our local farmers work tirelessly, pouring their hearts, time, and resources into what they grow, all while facing the unpredictability of the weather.
There is so much hard work, uncertainty, and dedication behind every single stem.
This is why supporting local farmers matters so much. When you purchase locally grown flowers, you are supporting far more than a beautiful bouquet. You are supporting the hands that grew them, the livelihoods behind them, and the people who make our community so special.
We are incredibly grateful for our farmers and especially thankful that these gorgeous dahlias will have another day to shine. โ๏ธ(We even had a little inch worm ๐ tag along for the drive into Atlanta as you will see on one of these beautiful blooms).
