Permanently closed We're a brewpub in historic Old Fourth Ward. We brew our own beers onsite. In addition, we have a great wine list and cocktail program.

We have a full kitchen with items like our pimento cheese plate, house-cut fries, wings, house burger, eggplant parmesan sandwich and shrimp po' boy. We offer styles like New England IPAs, west coast IPAs, pilsners, lagers, sours, pale ales, and coffee beers. We also have a coffee shop that serves espresso drinks like lattes, cortados and cappucinos during the day. We offer house-made pop-tarts, scones, and casa cardoza empanadas.

We have incredibly sad news. Our dear friend Rodney passed away on February 9th. We are shocked and devastated by his passing.

Rodney was one of the best people we ever encountered. Hard working, loyal, funny, caring and a joy to be around. He was known as the “Mayor” of Biggerstaff due to his big personality and importance to us all.

Rodney was loved by everyone and will be sorely missed. We will reach out again once we know more about efforts to help his family. Please keep them in your thoughts.

Hey y'all. Ian the brewer here. Happy Thanksgiving and all that. Now that we've all been peer-pressured into spending more time with our families than we would ideally like to an any single uninterrupted period, how about a new beer? :D

This week, we've got [DISTANT MURMUR], a Czech style Dark Lager. Coming in at 4.5% and showing off some super clean flavors of Chocolate, Toast, and Plum, you're gonna be able to down at least 7 of these things while ignoring the sibling group chat.

It features a blend of Czech Style pilsner malt from our friends at Riverbend Malt House, European specialty malts, and some extra lovely Czech Saaz hops. Refreshing yet fortifying. Smooth yet flavorful. Truly my favorite style of beer to make. Mostly because I get to drink it. Everything else about the process is honestly a pain in the #$%. Love y'all.

Hey y’all, we’ve got the cooler filled with 4-packs for your Thanksgiving festivities!

First up is "Share", our Helles Lager. Clean, crushable, but with enough body to stand up to your Thanksgiving meal.

Next we have two New England IPAs. "Just Metal" is making its triumphant return. It has a fruit-forward combo of American and New Zealand hops with aromas of Passionfruit, Pineapple, Lemon Lime, and Honeysuckle.

Finally, we have "Sky Juggler". In cans for the first time, now with an extra punchy blend of all American Citra, Mosaic, El Dorado AND El Dorado Incognito, lending huge aromas of Overripe Pineapple, Pear, Peach, and Grapefruit!

Biggerstaff Breakfast now has the perfect pairing - our coffee pale ale, made with the same Diablo blend we use for our cold brew. Maybe get an espresso on the side if you’re feeling extra champ.

By the way, breakfast goes late on weekends now, so you can get this combo till 2pm Saturday and Sunday!

This is one heck of a day for fans of New England IPA!

We’re excited to announce the return of our most beloved NEIPAs, “Just Metal” and “Sky Juggler”, in cans and on draft!

Just Metal gets a fruit-forward combo of American and New Zealand hops in a classic mash of barley, oats, and wheat. Expect aromas of Passionfruit, Pineapple, Lemon Lime, and Honeysuckle.

Sky Juggler’s in cans for the first time, now with an extra punchy blend of all American Citra, Mosaic, El Dorado AND El Dorado Incognito, lending huge aromas of Overripe Pineapple, Pear, Peach, and Grapefruit.

Which one’s better? You’ll have to decide for yourself!

Can’t decide between cold brew and a cold brew?

Welcome back an old favorite, our coffee pale ale, “G’Ma Parker”! We’re super excited for this one because we brewed it for years before we opened - it’s one of the recipes that made Biggerstaff happen!

It’s a pale ale with citrusy hops and the addition of Intelligentsia Roasters’ Diablo blend, the same one we use for our cold brew. It’s light and refreshing with a perfect balance of hops and coffee.

We think this latest version from Ian is the best one yet!
