We did a New England Fall Foliage trip in October, and had some great pit stops on the way!🍂🍁

We ate at The Water View Grill: rating 8/10

Claim/Seafood chowder

Atmosphere and vibes were great. Loved the water view as well! Not pictured is the Annabelle’s ice cream around the corner. Some of the best ice cream we’ve had in a while. Their maple flavor was AMAZING.

Tortas, tacos, and tamales🤤
This place is way south of the city, down past the airport. BUT it is oh so good. If you’re looking for an El Rey of the south side, this is IT. Best part is there isn’t a million year wait like at El Rey. We ordered a variety and were not disappointed. Definitely worth the little extra drive.

BriskFire BBQ (Lilburn, GA📍) rating: 7.5/10

This place is VERY well rated in Google, and it did not disappoint! The quality of meet is high and the flavors are good. The brisket Philly is a fun twist! Definitely keeping this in the list for a BBQ night out. The baked beans had a great seasoning on them, almost curry like and the wings were spot on.

Cafè Alma (Cincinnati📍) rating: 8/10

This is a super cute brekky/brunch/lunch spot in Silverton! The ShaShuka was so tasty and the salad was such a great twist of flavors. The Nutella latte was a little disappointing… but the coffee was still good. Definitely recommend and will go back when in town!

It was a good brunch stop! We both enjoyed our food and they have some late night hours as well. Bagel wasn’t anything crazy and I wish they took the casing off the sausage, but we loved the PLT!!

This is a solid 10/10. Service was so nice. Quality of food and ingredients was next level. We tried their pizza of the week - smash burger - and I was skeptical, but holy crap was it good. We also did half/half - hot honey & classic Peyton. If you’re down in ATL this is 100% worth the drive up to Flower Branch.

This is our favorite pizza place to date in ATL! We tried one of their three different pies:
- Grandma’s Original
- Detroit’s Downtown Detroit
- Regular w/ pepperonis and jalapeños

We decided Grandma’s and Detroit were amazing. Detroit taking #1. But the regular was not bad at all!! Wings were a great grilled flavor, but would’ve loved a bit more sauce. Very affordable for all that food and we will definitely be ordering from there again🍕🤤 Definitely worth the drive out to Lilburn have.

I think this if one of our favorite little bars just down the road in Chamblee! Food was fast and good (not pictured is a fried cod burger🤤) and my custom mocktail was delicious. Staff were very friendly as well! They frequently have live music on the weekends. Definitely saving this as a new favorite spot!!

Everything from the fries to the toppings on our burgers were super fresh. Great thick patties that were super tasty. Loved the jalapeño mustard on my burger. Their french fries were double fried or something, super crispy😋 Milks shakes (not pictured) were top notch as well👌

I would rank this higher then NFA burgers, but Mike disagreed🤪

Dean’s Italian Steakhouse (Charlotte) rating 9.5/10

We did our anniversary dinner here and were very impressed with everything we ordered and our wait staff.
Definitely would recommend!! The filet was one of the best we’ve had in awhile. The shrimp pasta had a great kick to it and SO tasty. Can’t go wrong with the espresso martini either🍸

We ordered an assortment of food and were very pleased with everything. My Burrito Pastor was cheaper than a chipotle burrito and tastier. Also shared some tacos that were 👌👌
