10. diena — Snallygaster festivāls, Vašingtona D.C. 🍻🇺🇸
Viens no visa ceļojuma lielākajiem notikumiem — Snallygaster festivāls!

Šķiet, ka Snallygaster šobrīd ir lielākais craft alus festivāls pasaulē — vairāk nekā 10 000 apmeklētāju, ap 200 alus darītavu un vairāk nekā 500 dažādu dzērienu. 🍺🔥

Ārpus Brewing Co. bija tas gods pārstāvēt Latviju šajā lieliskajā pasākumā, un tas bija patiešām neaizmirstami. Rindas pie mūsu stenda bija visu dienu, atpūsties nebija ne mirkļa — bet prieks bija milzīgs, redzot, cik ļoti ASV alus mīļotājiem patika mūsu ali.

Neaizmirstama pieredze un liels paldies, Vašingtona D.C.!

Day 10 — Snallygaster Festival, Washington D.C. 🍻🇺🇸
One of the biggest highlights of this trip — Snallygaster Festival!

Snallygaster feels like the biggest craft beer festival in the world right now — more than 10,000 visitors, around 200 breweries, and over 500 different beers and drinks. 🍺🔥

Ārpus Brewing Co. had the great honor of representing Latvia at this amazing event, and it was truly unforgettable. The lines at our booth lasted all day, no time to rest — but every minute was worth it!

I’m incredibly happy that so many U.S. beer lovers enjoyed our beers and came back for more. What an incredible experience — thank you, Washington D.C.! ❤️

9. diena — No Virdžīnijas pludmales līdz Vašingtonai D.C. 🌊🍺
Dienu sākām skaistajā Virdžīnijas pludmalē ar lielisku sadarbību Commonwealth Brewing Company darītavā! Kopā uzbrūvējām Fruited Sour — pilnu ar garšu un saulainām noskaņām. 🍓🍍☀️

Bija lieliski pavadīt nedaudz laika ar labiem cilvēkiem , pirms devāmies tālāk — uz Vašingtonu D.C. 🇺🇸

Satiksme no Virdžīnijas pludmales līdz D.C. bija traka — gandrīz 4 stundas ceļā tā vietā, lai būtu 2, bet tas noteikti bija tā vērts!

Dienas noslēgumā — Snallygaster Brewer Party! Brīnišķīgs vakars, satikt daudz senus draugus un iepazīties ar jauniem. Lieliski cilvēki, lielisks alus — ideāls iesākums festivālam! 🍻🔥

Day 9 — From Virginia Beach to Washington D.C. 🌊🍺
Started the day in beautiful Virginia Beach with an awesome collaboration at Commonwealth Brewing Company! Together we brewed a Fruited Sour, full of flavor and sunshine vibes. 🍓🍍☀️

It was great to spend a little time with amazing friends from Commonwealth before hitting the road again — next stop, Washington D.C. 🇺🇸

The traffic from Virginia Beach to D.C. was brutal — almost 4 hours instead of 2, but totally worth it!

Ended the day at the Snallygaster Brewer Party — an incredible evening with so many old friends and new ones too. Great people, great beer, and the perfect warm-up for the festival ahead! 🍻🔥

8. diena — No Ohaio līdz Virdžīnijai 🚗🍺
Šodien gandrīz 700 km ceļā — garš brauciens no Ohaio līdz Virdžīnijai! 🛣️

Pa ceļam lieliska pietura Cushwa Brewery — lieliski cilvēki, mājīga taproom atmosfēra un izcila pica. 🍕🍻

Vakarā vakariņas The Answer Brewery, kur baudījām pasaules klases Imperial Stout — īsts šedevrs! 🍫🔥

Vēl viena gara, bet lieliska diena — pilna ar alu, garšīgu ēdienu un labiem cilvēkiem. 🙌

Day 8 — From Ohio to Virginia 🚗🍺
Almost 700 km of driving today — a long road from Ohio to Virginia! 🛣️

We made a great halfway stop at Cushwa Brewery — amazing people, a cozy taproom, and some seriously good pizza. 🍕🍻

Finished the day with dinner at The Answer Brewery, enjoying a world-class Imperial Stout — pure perfection! 🍫🔥

Another long but fantastic day filled with great beer, good food, and even better company. 🙌

7. diena — No Mičiganas līdz Ohaio 🍺🚗
Pēc 5 stundu brauciena no Mičiganas un lieliem sastrēgumiem Kolumbusā, beidzot nonācām pie mūsu draugiem DankHouse Brewery! 🙌

Kopā uzbrūvējām sulīgu Strawberry Fruited DIPA — pilnu ar garšu, aromātu un lielisku noskaņu. 🍓🍺✨

Taproom ir lielisks, un cilvēki — vēl labāki! Ļoti draudzīga un pozitīva atmosfēra.
Liels paldies DankHouse komandai par lielisku dienu un sadarbības alu! 🍻

Day 7 — From Michigan to Ohio 🍺🚗
After a 5-hour drive from Michigan and some huge traffic jams in Columbus, we finally made it to our good friends at DankHouse Brewery! 🙌

Together we brewed a super juicy Strawberry Fruited DIPA — packed with flavor, aroma, and good vibes. 🍓🍺✨

The taproom is amazing, and the people even better — such a friendly and fun atmosphere!
Big thanks to the DankHouse crew for the great day and awesome collaboration! 🍻

6. diena — Sadarbības diena Transient Artisan Ales darītavā 🍻🔥
Šodien kopā ar mūsu draugu Chris no Transient Artisan Ales uzbrūvējām divus pilnīgi atšķirīgus sadarbības alus! 🙌

Transient ir slavena ar saviem mucās izturētajiem Imperial Stout, un mums bija lieliska mucu degustācija, lai izvēlētos ideālās mucas mūsu BA Imperial Stout sadarbībai. 🥃🍫

Otrais alus bija tas, ar ko Ārpus Brewing Co. ir visvairāk pazīstams — augļains, bagātīgs un atsvaidzinošs Smoothie Sour Ale! 🍓🍍

Ļoti iedvesmojoša diena — brūvēšana, degustēšana un ideju apmaiņa ar lieliskiem draugiem. Nevaru sagaidīt, kad abi šie ali būs gatavi! 💪

Day 6 — Collaboration Day at Transient Artisan Ales 🍻🔥
Today we brewed not one, but two amazing collaborations with our good friend Chris from Transient Artisan Ales! 🙌

Transient is well known for their Barrel Aged Imperial Stouts, and we had an incredible barrel tasting session to select the perfect barrels for our BA Imperial Stout collaboration. 🥃🍫

The second beer was something that Ārpus Brewing Co. is famous for — a fruity, rich, and refreshing Smoothie Sour Ale! 🍓🍍

It was an inspiring day of brewing, tasting, and sharing ideas with good friends. Can’t wait to see both of these beers come to life! 💪

4. un 5. diena — No Indianas līdz Mičiganai 🌊🍻
Pēc lieliskā Corn Maze Beer Festival atkal devāmies ceļā — gandrīz 5 stundu brauciens no Indianas uz Mičiganu. 🚗

Šīs divas dienas bija nedaudz mierīgākas — pavadījām laiku pie skaistā Mičiganas ezera, satikām senus draugus un apmeklējām vairākas alus darītavas. 🍺☀️

Mičigana tiešām ir skaista vieta — mierīga atmosfēra, forši cilvēki un lieliska alus kultūra.

Rīt dosimies uz Transient Artisan Ales uz īpašu sadarbību! Nevaru sagaidīt tikties ar Chris, aprunāties un izvēlēties mucas mūsu kopīgajam projektam. 🔥

Day 4 & 5 — From Indiana to Michigan 🌊🍻
After an amazing Corn Maze Beer Festival, we hit the road again — almost 5 hours of driving from Indiana to Michigan. 🚗

These two days were all about slowing down a bit — spending time by the beautiful Lake Michigan, meeting some old friends, and visiting a few great breweries along the way. 🍺☀️

Michigan is truly a stunning place — peaceful views, great people, and fantastic beer culture.

Tomorrow we’re heading to Transient Artisan Ales for a special collaboration! Can’t wait to meet Chris, catch up, and select some barrels for our project together. 🔥

3. diena — 450 North Brewing Co. / Maze Beer Festival 🌽🍺
Liela diena Ārpus Brewing Co. — šodien piedalījāmies pirmajā alus festivālā ASV! 🇺🇸

Corn Maze Beer Festival ir patiešām īpašs pasākums — vairāk nekā 100 alus darītavu, 5000 apmeklētāju, un viss notiek kukurūzas laukā. 🌽✨

Apmeklētājiem mūsu alus ļoti patika — rindas bija garas, un mēs izpārdevām visu ļoti ātri! 🙌

Atmosfēra bija lieliska — draudzīgi cilvēki, superīga noskaņa un īsti svētki priekš alus mīļotājiem.
Neaizmirstams sākums Ārpus Brewing Co ceļojumam ASV! 🍻

Day 3 — 450 North / Corn Maze Beer Festival 🌽🍺
Big day for Ārpus Brewing Co. — today we participated in our first-ever beer festival in the USA! 🇺🇸

Corn Maze Beer Festival is something truly special — more than 100 breweries, over 5,000 visitors, and the whole event takes place right in the middle of a cornfield. 🌽✨

Festival visitors absolutely loved our beers — the queues at our booth were super long, and we even sold out really quickly! 🙌

The atmosphere was amazing — friendly people, great vibes, and a true celebration of craft beer.

3. diena — Ceļā 🚗🍻
Šodien izīrējām mašīnu — ļoti gribējās pabraukt ar kādu klasisku amerikāņu auto, bet beigās dabūjām Volvo. 😂 Nu labi, arī tas der!

Ilgs brauciens no Čikāgas uz 450 North, jo rīt Ārpus Brewing Co. lejs mūsu labākos alus Corn Maze Beer Festival festivālā. 🌽🍺

Šovakar bija Brewer’s Party, un tas bija lieliski — satikt daudz senus draugus un iepazīties ar jauniem cilvēkiem.

Nevaru sagaidīt rītdienu — Corn Maze Festival solās būt īpašs! 🙌

Day 3 — On the Road 🚗🍻
We rented a car today — I really wanted to drive some classic American car, but somehow we ended up with a Volvo instead. 😂 Not exactly what I had in mind, but it gets the job done!

A long drive from Chicago to 450 North, because tomorrow Ārpus Brewing Co. will be pouring our best beers at the legendary Corn Maze Beer Festival. 🌽🍺

This evening we had the Brewer’s Party, and it was amazing — so great to catch up with many old friends and meet new ones from the beer community.

Can’t wait for tomorrow — the Corn Maze Festival is going to be something special! 🙌

2. diena — Čikāga 🍺🔥
Kāda diena “Vējainajā pilsētā”!

Sākām ar īpašu sadarbību kopā ar mūsu draugiem no Saint Errant Brewing. Viņi agrāk bija “contract brewery”, bet beidzot iegādājušies savu darītavu — apsveicam ar šo lielo soli! 🎉

Protams, Čikāgas apmeklējums nebūtu pilnīgs bez īsta American Smoke BBQ — klasiskā stilā ar lieliskām ribām. Īsts baudījums! 🍖

Dienas laikā apmeklēju 6 dažādas alus darītavas, tostarp Hop Butcher, Dovetail Brewery, Half Acre un citas. Tik daudz iedvesmas un lieliska alus.

Vakarā — divi leģendāri alus bāri Čikāgā: The Beer Temple un The Green Lady Bar. Īsta Mekka alus mīļotājiem!

diena = alus, ēdiens un lieliski draugi. Čikāga, tu biji lieliska! 🙌

Day 2 — Chicago 🍺🔥
What a day in the Windy City!

Started off with a very special collaboration with our good friends at Saint Errant Brewing. They used to be a contract brewery, and now they finally have their own place — huge congratulations! 🎉

Of course, no Chicago visit is complete without some proper American Smoke BBQ — the classic style with incredible ribs. Absolute perfection! 🍖

During the day I managed to visit 6 different breweries, including Hop Butcher, Dovetail Brewery, Half Acre, and more. So much inspiration and amazing beer along the way.

The evening ended in two legendary Chicago beer bars — The Beer Temple and The Green Lady Bar. Both must-visits for any beer lover!

Day 2 = full of beer, food, and great friends. Chicago, you delivered! 🙌

1. diena — Rīgas lidosta 🍻✈️
Ceļojums sākas! Nākamās 28 dienas pavadīšu ASV — apmeklējot daudzas alus darītavas, izbaudot ēdienu un piedaloties 3 fantastiskos festivālos.

Ārpus Brewing Co. brūvēs daudz sadarbības alus ASV, un man būs iespēja būt tam visam klāt. Ar nepacietību gaidu tikšanās ar daudzām lieliskām darītavām un visus stāstus, ko dalīties.

Day 1 — Riga Airport 🍻✈️
The adventure begins! For the next 28 days I’ll be traveling across the USA — visiting many breweries, exploring food spots, and diving into 3 amazing festivals.

Ārpus Brewing Co. will be brewing many collaborations in the USA, and I’m excited to join along the way. Can’t wait to meet so many incredible breweries and share all the stories.
