Our bodies don’t stay the same throughout our lives — so why should the way we think about nutrition?

In our 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond, what deserves more attention may shift. But I’m learning that good nutrition isn’t just about what we eat less of.

It’s also about what our food gives us.

Protein. Fiber. Healthy fats. Vitamins and minerals. Plants. Variety.

As women, maybe the question isn’t always “Should I eat this?”

Maybe it’s also: “How is this nourishing me?”

Nourish the woman you are today. 🤍

Being a single mom is hard. I made it harder — quit my corporate job and started a business.

Why? Because I believe women deserve better everyday food — simple, delicious, and actually nourishing.

So I decided to build it. One bag of SESA at a time. 🖤.

Rainy Saturday recap🖤

Despite the rain, so many of us small business owners came out, set up our tables, and spent the day at the market.

Lately, there really hasn’t been a break, a rest day, or much of a weekend. Just building, learning, and showing up again.

And maybe that’s why this line has been sitting with me lately: I refuse to leave this world without knowing my full potential.

I didn’t leave a comfortable career because I knew exactly where this would lead. I left because I wanted to find out what I could build if I really gave it everything I had.

So, rain or shine, we keep going. 🖤.

Entrepreneur life update — come set up an indoor farmers market table with me at Upper West Market 🖤

Market days have become some of my favorite days of the week. No production, no Excel — just SESA and real conversations.

I genuinely love talking to people, introducing them to SESA, and seeing their reactions after that first bite — especially the excitement of finding a snack that tastes good and brings real nutrition.

I also love meeting other small business owners and hearing what they’re building.

Today was a good day. We sold out. 🖤

Keep building. Keep showing up. Keep bringing something good into the world.

Sold out at Upper West Market today! 🖤

I’ve shown you production days, fulfilling online orders, and setting up at Sandy Springs Farmers Market — so today I thought I’d bring you along for a quick setup at Upper West.

Market days have become some of my favorite days of the week. No laptop. No Meta ads. No Excel. No production. Just setting up my table, putting SESA out, and getting ready to meet people.

I love talking to everyone who stops by, watching someone try SESA for the first time, hearing what they think, and getting to introduce this little brand I’ve been building one bag at a time.

I also love getting to know my market neighbors, hearing their stories, and discovering what they’re building too. 🙌🙌.

Entrepreneurship update: life has been busy

4 months have already gone by since I left my corporate job. I went from spending my days in front of a laptop and in meeting rooms to building a snack brand from scratch.

Now my weeks look very different — production days, farmers market days, and fulfilling online orders like this one. Making, packing, selling, shipping… and doing all the little things that come with building a food brand as a solo founder.

There have definitely been challenging moments. Ive cried because I was exhausted while still couldn’t fulfill the orders fast enough, couldn’t open an ingredient bottle while in the commercial kitchen alone 🤪 But no regrets.

Because I believe in what I’m creating — something that can add value to women like me who want more from their everyday snacks.

Four months in. Still learning, still building, and very grateful for every order that lets me keep going. 🖤
Life has been busy.

Somehow, four months have already gone by since I left my corporate job.

I went from spending my days in front of a laptop and in meeting rooms to building a snack brand from scratch.

Now my weeks look very different — production days, farmers market days, and, somewhere in between, fulfilling online orders like this one. Making, packing, selling, shipping… and doing all the little things that come with building a food brand as a solo founder.

There have definitely been challenging moments. I’m learning as I go, and some days are harder than others.

But no regrets.

Because I believe in what I’m creating — something that can add value to women like me who want more from their everyday snacks.

Four months in. Still learning, still building, and very grateful for every order that lets me keep going. 🖤
