Silky, dramatic, and rich in the best way, this dish is the kind that makes the table go quiet for a second because everyone’s too busy processing how good it is. Deep, briny flavor with just enough indulgence to feel special without being heavy.

We always plan an annual Christmas lunch, just the two of us, no kids, on the 23rd each December. We were so excited to see that Saint Bibiana offered lunch and immediately booked. One of the most fanatic birthday dinners we’ve celebrated was at and we were genuinely excited to snag a reservation.

Unfortunately, disappointment ensued. Ordinary, uninspired and overpriced. The food wasn’t coursed out, our starter arrived after our entree and we suspect the french fries to be (gasp) frozen 🥶 We know we won’t revisit for lunch, but I’m curious now what dinner service is like. . . ? It was phenomenal once upon a time. . .

Savannah has a delicious new addition, and The Darling is already making waves 🦪✨

Recently opened, The Darling delivers an outstanding seafood experience that lives up to the hype. From the first bite, it’s clear this spot is all about fresh flavors and thoughtful preparation. The oysters were exceptional, and the seafood lineup did not disappoint. We ordered the prawns, scallops, and crab cakes—each dish perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and beautifully presented.

If you’re a seafood lover or just looking for your next must-try restaurant in Savannah, The Darling is well worth the visit. This one’s officially on our go-back list.
