Simone began her baking journey as a means of raising funds to participate in a study abroad program to China, while pursuing her Master's in Public Administration at Western Kentucky University. Her endeavor proved so successful that she became known as the "Cupcake Girl" on WKUs campus. From the simple drive to raise money to explore the world and make connections with people outside her normal
environment, Simone not only discovered her passion for baking, but she also discovered that something as simple and sweet as dessert provided an equally important human connection. To that end, Sweet by Simone officially launched as a Luxe Cake Boutique in May 2019 in Louisville, KY. Sweet by Simone offers premium flavored cakes that provide a centerpiece for special moments or "just because". Quality ingredients coupled with sweet inspirations, provides the background to create a supreme palette of flavors to satisfy every sweet tooth. We specialize in unique offerings that reflect the changes of the seasons, however custom orders are available as well. Please note: Sweet by Simone does not provide 3D cakes or whimsically designed themed cakes; however we do provide custom elegant desserts for special events upon request.
