We officially began lambing last Friday with a single, but when the temps hit negative Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, a whole group decided it was time! Thankful for great mommas, even at -5 degrees, all lambs and ewes are healthy!

Another year in the green shavings, and Brady and Aubrey represented us well! Thank you to them, to the pit crew for what they do best, and for all of the people that made the show possible! A few highlights include:

- 3rd Place February Slick Shorn Ewe Lamb
- 3rd Place January Fitted Ram Lamb
- 1st Place January Fitted Ewe Lamb, and Reserve Junior Champion

Check out Lot 5 in the USSA Online Sale, she sells Monday. She is a twin to our lead slick shorn ewe lamb this summer, and in my opinion the better ewe now. Sired by a “Smack” son I purchased from Mike O’Neill and dammed by a MacCauley 4756 daughter. She could be a fun one to show next year, and one I think will be an even better brood ewe. Well, thought we were done lambing in early/mid March until feeding time last night…and found a set of twins, dry and running around the lot with what we thought was an open ewe. Surprise. Lambing I hope is officially finished now. Thank goodness for great momma!

Lambing finally commenced for us last night about midnight, at 1 degree above zero. Healthy set of twins out of one of our show yearlings this year!

We had a great trip to Louisville this year! Took 8 head for the junior show, and all placed in the top 7, including this class winning yearling ewe. Also had a 2nd place slick shorn yearling ewe, 2nd place fitted ram lamb, 3rd place fitted fall ewe, 3rd place fitted January ewe lamb, 5th and 7th place slick shorn February ewe lambs, and a 6th place slick shorn ram lamb. Congrats to Clayton, Brady, and Aubrey!

We met Hanna in 2019 when she won the Suffolk Ewe Lamb Giveaway and chose our program to start her Suffolk flock. We have loved building a friendship with her family and watching her build her own (successful!) Suffolk program!
