Our logo is a picture of my father as a Naval Academy student in 1953 looking over the Pacific Ocean. He was raised in a South Georgia farming community, the son of a peanut farmer and the local cake maker. I have always admired those that work with the land, products that are handmade and small-batch items intended for gathering around a table: icebox pickles, seasonal preserves, local honey. Bea

We make products using locally grown herbs, foraged mushrooms and organic spices sourced from growers and purveyors guided by methods of sustainability. We can be found from coast to coast in gourmet groceries, mom and pop stores, galleries, pop-up shops as well as many local restaurants and farmer's markets. Beautiful Briny Sea is a member of Slow Food, Georgia Organics, and The Southern Foodways Alliance. Beautiful Briny Sea blends certified organic herbs with hand harvested salts from the around globe. All ingredients are sourced from growers and harvesters guided by methods of sustainability. Some ingredients include Fleur de Sel (Brittany), Pink Himalayan Salt, Kala Namak (India), Black Hawaiian Lava Salt, Truffles, Lavender, Pink Peppercorn and meyer lemon.

This wonderful human, my longtime friend and coworker, is courageously battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia. 🍽 Holiday Sides!
Mr. Gigglepants Vinaigrette 🌸
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard.
1 tablespoon minced fresh shallot
1/2 cup champagne🍾vinegar.
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
3/4 cup good olive oil.

Whisk together all ingredients. Adjust with salt, pepper and sugar to taste.
Suggested salad pairings:
Arugula and winter greens with peeled sliced apples, jicama, toasted walnuts
and freshly grated pecorino.
Endive and Valencia orange sections with snipped chives and pomegranate
seeds.
Grilled radicchio chopped and tossed with hand torn butter lettuce, toasted
almonds and freshly grated manchego.

Orange Chili Sugar Cranberry Sauce

10oz Cranberries fresh or frozen
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1/2 cup Orange Chili Sugar🍊
1 tsp vanilla extract or 1/2 scraped vanilla bean pod

Combine half cranberries, water, orange juice, and Orange Chili Sugar in medium sauce pan over medium heat. Stir occasionally. Bring to simmer, reduce heat and cook until sauce has thickened and cranberries have burst.

Remove from heat🔥 stir in remaining cranberries, and vanilla. Sauce will set as it cools.

Additional tips: Leftover cranberry sauce can be made into a vinaigrette to pour over a turkey Cobb salad or leftover turkey sandwich. Cook it down into a glaze and roast it on a pork tenderloin, or your favorite plant based protein.
