PSA:
Making homemade flavored syrups is rediculously easy and cheap!
I looked at several stores for peppermint syrup for my son. Found every other flavor and some I had never heard of before!
All of them can be made with a simple syrup base and then added extracts, spices, herbs, etc.,
Just boil water and add an equal amount of sugar and stir to dissolve. Remove from the heat and add your flavors!
For peppermint, it was peppermint extract (found in any grocery store). Let it cool and then refrigerate! We’ve been adding it to hot chocolate and it’s delicious!

I almost gave up on Turkey, until I found this recipe/method. I’ve made it 3 times, twice with turkey and once with chicken ! I PROMISE this is my go to for the birds!!!! Absolutely moist and delicious and easy!
