A place to honor the past, share stories and inspire what comes next.

The Crispus Attucks History and Culture Center in York, Pennsylvania, gives the city's African American stories a new home. The 19,500-square-foot center features three stories of exhibition galleries and a flexible 120-person event pavilion, exploring the Underground Railroad, Great Migration and Civil Rights movement.

Designed by Murphy & Dittenhafer Architects, the center features a pioneering mass timber structure, one of the few of its kind in South Central Pennsylvania. Natural light, exposed wood and views of the surrounding neighborhood create a welcoming setting for learning and gathering.
YKK AP's YCW 750 OG curtain wall showcases the timber structure from outside, while strategically placed corner glazing connects visitors to the campus and city beyond. Thanks to Quick Fabrications and Debra's Glass.

We're proud to play a role in bringing this community's vision to life.

This Charlotte standout made our Favorite 35 Projects of All Time. Located in the heart of Charlotte's South End, 110 East features staggered vertical glass fins and horizontal bands that create a distinctive "woven" pattern, a nod to the area's textile heritage. As daylight changes, the reflective glass gives the building an evolving character.

Behind the design, YKK AP's YWW 60 TU SSG Window Wall and YCW 750 SSG Curtain Wall systems deliver the performance to match. It's one we're proud to count among our 35 Favorite Projects as we celebrate 35 years of YKK AP America.
