Our wonderful supplier Lisa with Atlas Bev is joining us this Friday for a bag full of holiday hosting goodies! The scenario: you've been invited to a holiday party and know the hosts love wine--but what do you get them?! Fear not, this tasting of three wines from coveted regions around the world will not only stun palates but relax your wallet. From a Sonoma chardonnay that tastes like rich Burgundy to reds from the Mediterranean that were meant for meat and age, this will be a tasting you don't want to miss.
Annual Toy Drive Tasting for Emmaus House
Saturday, December 13 | 2:30-4:30PM
In lieu of our normal single-bottle tasting this Saturday, we are doing the tasting that means the most to so many kids and families this Christmas: our annual toy drive tasting! Emmaus House puts gifts in the hands of hundreds of children each year to bring worry-free joy to their faces and light up parents' holiday free of stress, and this year they are partnering again to take donations for their toy drive.
If you come to our complimentary tasting with an unwrapped gift to donate to Emmaus House, you'll be treated to a free full glass of white or red wine on us! Hang out, sip some vin, and make a child's Christmas shine this year.
For a quick guide, many of the requests Emmaus house receives are things like:
9 - 12 years
Girls: jewelry making kits, jewelry sets, small fashion back packs and purses, perfume, arts and crafts supplies, socks and slippers, games.
Boys: sports equipment, socks, and watches. Compact blue tooth speakers, belts, backpacks, footballs, basketballs, hat/scarf/glove sets.
Unisex: back packs, sleeping bags, board games, science sets, compact blue tooth speakers, ear buds and phone chargers, uno cards, board games. Sports team paraphernalia (cups, tumblers, blankets)- UGA, GSU, GATECH, Falcons, Hawks, Atlanta Dream, Atlanta United. Lava lamps. LED lights.
13 - 18 years
Girls: makeup kits, flat irons, purses, slippers, perfumes, and lotions, press on nail kits and polish, jewelry sets, hat/scarf/glove sets, jewelry boxes. Bath products.
Boys: sporting equipment, wallets, duffel bags, watches, men’s body wash and cologne, shaving items and grooming sets. Compact blue tooth speakers, belts, backpacks, footballs, basketballs, hat/scarf/glove sets.
Unisex: Socks, hats, scarves, gloves, backpacks, blue tooth phone speakers, ear buds, sunglasses, watches and jewelry, blankets, journals. Sports team paraphernalia (cups, tumblers, blankets, flags etc)- Falcons, Hawks, Atlanta Dream, Atlanta United. Uno cards, Jenga. Lava lamps, LED lights.
