Led by James Beard-nominated executive pastry chef Claudia Martínez, Bar ANA is Atlanta's premiere late-night dessert and cocktail bar. We provide artfully-plated desserts, curated cocktails and a refined yet vibrant atmosphere located underneath El Ponce in the Poncey-Highland neighborhood of Atlanta. Reservations for the dining room are available and highly recommended. Bar seating is available for walk-ins on a first come, first served basis.

De La Casa — this one’s special. Meet Chef Claudia Martinez.

Atlanta raised. Executive Pastry Chef. Co-founder. James Beard semifinalist. The reason any of this exists.

Traveled to 14 countries. Hates celery with her whole chest. Misses the Mini Peach more than she’ll admit (we miss it too). Firmly believes she’s the funniest person in the building. The jury is still out 😅.

Toxic hospitality trait? “I’m never toxic.” The room had a lot to say about that. 🙃

None of this happens without her. Not the space, not the desserts, not the culture. We’re just grateful she brought us along for the ride. 🤎

De La Casa continues. Meet Mairig, familia.

Atlanta born and raised. With us since day one. And genuinely one of the warmest people you’ll ever meet — to a fault. 😅

Mallorca sandwich loyalist. Misses the Maldita Primavera (see what we did there 😉). Spent a year living in Amsterdam in her 20s. Oh, and she’s a respected designer — something she somehow forgot to mention. We didn’t 😬. Her favorite part of the night? W**e Monday, when the leftover bottles from service get distributed. Priorities. 🍷

A guest once asked her to serve something that isn’t creamy... At a dessert bar. She handled it gracefully. We’re still thinking about it. 🤔

Customer favorite for a reason. We’re lucky to have you, Mairig. 🤎

Did she do this interview 4 times? Maybe. But that’s not the point here. 😄

Sandía. Blueberry lime pie. High acid everything. Caviar is overrated and she will stand on that. Someone once asked her to turn the AC down for the whole establishment — in long sleeves. She did not. 😐😂

Her favorite part of the night? When the room is packed, the team is locked in, and everything she’s poured into them just flows naturally. That’s when you see what she’s really built here.

We wouldn’t be Bar ANA without her and we wouldn’t want to. The bar, literally and figuratively, would not be the same. 🤎

Come as you are. Sunday nights at Bar ANA feel like coming home. The table is set – we’ll see you soon, familia 🤎🫂
