I tried 7 different desserts from Eatz With A Bang in Atlanta, and ONE of them got a perfect 10/10! 🧁🔥😂

Now y’all know I love my sweets, but just because I love dessert doesn’t mean everybody getting a perfect score! 😂

From Biscoff and Banana Pudding to Cookie Monster, Red Velvet, and Strawberry, I gave each one my genuine opinion.

But that Strawberry cupcake? BABY! 10/10! 🍓🔥

And what I really enjoyed was getting to meet the person behind these creations. I love seeing local entrepreneurs putting their passion into something and sharing it with the community.

Willy’s Mexicana Grill invited Uncle AL to come try their BRISKET, and somehow I ended up with THREE different meals! 😂🔥

Now y’all know I couldn’t just try it one way!

I had to see what that brisket was working with in all three! And apparently, one bite wasn’t enough because I kept going back for quality control. 😂

That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it!

But here’s where I need y’all to help me settle something.

If you’re trying to figure out where to eat AND what to do Friday on the Southside, I might’ve found you a spot. 👀

I checked out Bar 42 Cocktails & Kitchen in Rex, GA, and Fridays can basically turn into an entire itinerary. 😂

🍽️ $10 lunch specials
🍸 Happy hour drinks
🎷 Live jazz at 7 PM
🎧 DJ at 9 PM

The food was hitting, the drinks were good, and I really like that you can come here for completely different reasons depending on the time of day.

Come for the $10 lunch, meet somebody for happy hour, turn it into date night with live jazz, or pull up later when you’re ready to be outside. 😂

Now the real question is… which version of Friday are you showing up for? 👀

Powder Springs, we gotta get behind this one. 🔥🙌🏾

I kept seeing Wolphbae talking about Cheryl’s Soul Food right here in Powder Springs, and after his video went viral and started bringing some serious attention her way, I had to see what was going on for myself.

Especially because I LIVE in Powder Springs. 😂 I had some explaining to do.

So it was only right that I linked up with Wolphbae and pulled up to Cheryl’s together.

And apparently y’all got the message because that line was LONG. 😂 But once I saw Lakeisha back there actually cooking and those homemade plates coming out, I understood why everybody was waiting.

This is the kind of local business I love seeing people rally around. Good homemade food, somebody putting real work into what they’re serving, and a community showing up to support it.

And yes… the food was GOOD. 🔥 The live review tells the rest of that story. 😂

Big shoutout to Wolphbae for using his platform to put people onto something good in the community. That’s what this creator thing should be about. 🤝🏾

Got a group of people who can NEVER agree on where to eat? 😂 Halidom Eatery might’ve solved that problem.

They’ve got 11 chef driven food concepts under one roof, plus Bar La Rose, drinks, music, events and plenty of room to hang out.

I tried a few different spots while I was there, and I already know I need to go back because I barely scratched the surface. 👀

And y’all know I have to mention the important stuff…

FREE PARKING IN ATLANTA! 😂🙌🏾 That alone deserves some recognition.

Whether everybody wants something different or you just want a place where you can eat, grab a drink and enjoy the atmosphere, Halidom gives you plenty of options.

That Garlic Parmesan Smoked Cornish Hen had me forgetting I was supposed to be reviewing the food. 😂🔥

I pulled up to Stan Andrews in Atlanta with ONE thing on my mind: that Garlic Parmesan Smoked Cornish Hen.

And listen… Stan did not disappoint.

Smoky, tender, loaded with garlic parmesan flavor, and good enough that after the first bite, being professional was no longer a priority. 😂

Y’all can hear my real reaction at the end. No script needed. That little bird was DELICIOUS AS HELL.

And yes, there was plenty of other good looking BBQ around me, but once I saw that Cornish hen, my mind was made up. Don’t confuse me with options. 😂

Now WHO told Mos Masterpiece Catering to put oxtails over Rasta pasta?! 😂🇯🇲🔥

I had the oxtail Rasta pasta, Mike went with the oxtail plate, and we both tried the beef patties and suya.

Everything I had was good, but that suya caught me ALL the way off guard! Smoky, seasoned and packed with flavor. 🔥

Atlanta, which way you going: oxtail Rasta pasta or the traditional oxtail plate? 👀

Atlanta’s first Thai restaurant has been serving the city since 1977…and somehow AL is just now getting here. 😂🇹🇭

I pulled up to Bangkok Thai Restaurant with Black Girl & Noods, and we had ourselves a TIME. Good food, good conversation, and that whole fish came to the table looking like it already knew it was about to be on camera. 😂

One thing I’ve learned doing this is that good food hits different when you’re sharing it with somebody who loves food just as much as you do.

Now I need y’all to help me out. What other longtime Atlanta restaurant am I late finding out about? 👀

I came back for the banana pudding…that should tell you everything 😂🍌

Jewel’s Treats & More has one of my FAVORITE homemade banana puddings. This wasn’t one of those “try it once for the video” situations either. I’ve been here before, and that pudding will bring AL right back. 😂

Then Jewel had the nerve to bring out the pound cake too. Ma’am, we supposed to be friends!

If you love a good homemade dessert, this is one to put on your list.
