The Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is the world’s oldest international gastronomic society, founded in Paris in 1248, revived in 1950. It is devoted to preserving the camaraderie and pleasures of the table and to promoting excellence in all areas of the hospitality arts. The mission of the Atlantic City Chaîne des Rôtisseurs is to promote, foster and encourage the culinary arts through education and schola

rships. Working with educational institutions to be able to provide training in all phases of the culinary arts, enology and viticulture. Along with enjoyment and tastings we foster the education of our membership through food preparation, pairing of wines and distilled spirits and serving. The Atlantic City Bailliage or Chapter is a dynamic organization with a broadly based membership, in excess of 100 members, which has very clear objectives.The Chapter organizes at least twelve events per year at fine Atlantic City area establishments with the goal of creating an exceptional gastronomic experience accompanied by fine and appropriate wines, whilst at the same time creating an ambiance of camaraderie and fun and, where possible, furthering the education of the members in the culinary arts. The mix of "professional" members are active in local establishments and are every day furthering and enhancing the reputations of the area's hotels, clubs, restaurants, and wine stores. There are "non-professional" laymen gastronomes who support and appreciate the continually growing Atlantic City gastronomic scene. The interaction of the professionals and non-professionals on the scale of the Atlantic City Chapter makes it some what unique. Membership in the Chaîne is by invitation only and is extended to men and women who are professional or amateur gastronomes. For professionals, it provides opportunities to demonstrate their exceptional skills and creativity to a discerning, appreciative audience. What a high-touch evening Mondiale members enjoyed at Tideline, one of Margate’s hottest new restaurants, with renowned sommelier and wine author Jimmy Quaile. The culinary lineup and the wine selections were equally spectacular and thoughtfully paired. It was a night of great wine, great food, and an engaging, interactive dialogue about how wine is actually enjoyed: what to drink when you love what you love, how to pair beyond the “rules,” and the behind-the-scenes stories from a life on the wine floor. Thank you so much for your patience while we finalized the new date. Our 20 Max social is now confirmed for Tuesday, April 1 at 6:00 PM at Dock’s Oyster House.

Tickets will automatically transfer to this new date, and I’m really hoping all of you can still make it.

If, for any reason, you’re unable to attend on April 1, please let me know as soon as possible. I’ll take care of issuing your refund right away and will open your seat up to the waitlist.
