It's never too cold for a BBQ competition, no matter what they say! Boatloads of fun at the Showboat Hotel for the Mid Atlantic BBQ Expo in Atlantic City, NJ. Beerbeque placed 6th place overall out of 66 teams! 7th place in pork and 5th place in Brisket. Congrats to all teams who were called!

It’s not a bbq competition without some rain, and we got our share this past weekend. Que by the Sea NJ state championship in Seaside Heights, NJ did not disappoint. Beerbeque placed 1st place in ribs, 8th place in brisket, for a spectacular 2nd place finish as Reserve Grand Champion! We also took home the MABA state cup for the third time as NJ state champions. Congrats to all competing teams who heard their names called on this wet weekend down the shore.

Another great weekend at the New Jersey State Barbecue Championship in North Wildwood, NJ! Perfect weather, great time with family and a decent showing in results. Chicken: 4th place. Ribs: 2nd place. Pork: 5th place. Brisket: see photo below. Overall: 5th place out of 64 teams!!
