Highlander Weiss Sour Ale with Salted Cantaloupe

There is no end to what my dad taught me in the kitchen as a child, and every Carton beer is seeded in a concept I germinated after he planted it. Larry is the most direct translation of one of those memories.
Making breakfast for the family one morning we cut an under-ripe cantaloupe that was just too flat and boring to satisfy dad. He diced it rather than slicing squeezed a lemon and sprinkled some salt . It wasn't the sweet fruit it should have been, but it was zippy and bright — and its firm texture bettered the dish.
It was exciting, new, and different to my young perspective .
Drink Larry because a thousand mile journey off the beaten craft starts with those first steps. 🍻

Our Mexican Pilsner returns for Spring — and like a lot of what we make, it didn’t start where you’d expect. This one traces back to a single improvised moment in a classic film.
John Candy wasn’t supposed to say it. No script. No plan. Just a guy turning to a room mid-scene and asking — “Who wants an orange whip? Orange whip? Orange whip? Three orange whips.”
Completely improvised. Completely iconic. We never forgot it.

The Whip Series is our answer to that moment — one Pilsner per country, each named for the word “whip” in its native tongue. The idea is simple. The ex*****on is the fun part.

Latigo. Mexico’s entry. 5.5%, flaked corn, Motueka, Nugget, and a Bavarian Lager yeast that keeps everything where it belongs — cold, clean, and honest.

Got Resigned is a Double NEIPA — 8%, Nectaron, Nectaron Abstrax, and Strata, Conan yeast. Soft. Hazy. Peach and passionfruit with a finish that doesn't linger longer than it should. Exactly what it needs to be.

It came up the way the best ones do — mid-conversation, no agenda.
A coach. A losing streak. Dave called it a resignation.

Appreciate the Privilege To Play started as a conversation between two breweries who love hanging together as much as they love making beer. came up from Atlantic City. We brought the tanks. Together we made something at 10% that we’re genuinely proud of.
