To answer the many questions we’re getting regarding our new stand in New Church, the address is 6278 Lankford Hwy, New Church, VA. It’s located right past Thomas Gardens if you’re heading North. The hours are 10am-7:30pm, outside of those hours it is locked. If the flags are up, we’re open😃 This stand is also “self-serve” for now but will be manned on weekends July & August! Grab what you want and simply place your money in the yellow cash box! Sweet corn is in the blue cooler.

Look at all those yellow belly’s on these sugar babies!

A "yellow belly" (or field spot) is an excellent indicator that a watermelon is ripe, sweet, and ready to eat. The yellow color shows the melon ripened fully on the vine, rather than being picked too early. 🤤🤤🍉🍉

Did you know Parker has approximately One Million honey bees working daily on our farm? The vast majority of cucurbits (including squash, pumpkins, cucumbers, cantaloupes, and watermelons) require insect pollination to produce fruit. Late May and early June is a critical time for pollination of our mid summer crops.

🚨 Due to circumstances outside of our control, we will no longer be operating out of the Parksley, VA location. We hope that you will continue to support us at our original Atlantic, VA location and our NEW location in New Church, VA! 🚨

Who knows what the season will bring and what the future holds for us, it’s all in Gods plans and we’re ready!

Atlantic and New Church will both be opening tomorrow, stay tuned for updates!

Also, for those of you who loved our sweet potato biscuits, no worries, they’ll be available on both carts and you can always order in advance!
