These are headed to the Rolling Hills Bank & Trust customer appreciation dinner, and we’re glad to play a small part in helping them say "thank you" to their customers.

10,000 sales... and counting!📈

We got to celebrate a pretty exciting milestone at Atlantic Locker last week when Andrew and Heather Eggerling happened to make our 10,000th sale of the year!

We surprised them with a couple of Atlantic Locker hats and, of course, some jerky to take home.

Reaching 10,000 is pretty cool, but what means even more is knowing how many of those sales come from people who choose to come back and support our family-owned business again and again.

Thank you, Andrew and Heather, and thank you to every person who has walked through our doors, stocked up at the retail counter, trusted us with your processing or told a friend about Atlantic Locker. We appreciate every single one of you.

The Atlantic Locker is looking for a hard working, physically capable and eager person to fill the position of meat cutter. A meat cutter will be responsible for de-boning, trimming and cutting beef and hogs off the rail. Experience is always preferred, but we are happy to teach the right applicant. We have a fast-paced, fun and productive work environment.

A good applicant will take pride in their work, be willing to learn and be meticulous in their results. We operate a very clean facility that is well-respected by customers, inspectors and producers.

The Atlantic Locker offers competitive compensation. Starting pay without experience will range from $15-$18/hour and we will cover 75 percent of the premium for health care benefits after 90 days of employment. Paid time off and paid holidays will be given after 90 days of employment.

Prospective meat cutters can stop by the Atlantic Locker to pick up an application, or email [email protected] to request an application. Applications can be turned in to Tim at the Atlantic Locker. We are located at 310 West 2nd Street in Atlantic, Iowa, and our phone number is 712-243-1941.

One of our favorite parts of fair season is watching the next generation of livestock producers grow.

From early mornings in the barn to the friendships, responsibility, and countless hours spent caring for their animals, these young exhibitors put in an incredible amount of work... and it shows.

We're honored to play a small part in their journey by helping families process the animals they've worked so hard to raise.

A special thank you to the Thygesen family for continuing to trust Atlantic Locker year after year. We truly appreciate your support and are grateful to be part of your family's story.

The calendar is getting tight! Our hog bookings are nearly full for the year. We have a few spots open in October and November.
