PENDING Theses siblings are on the bottle. They were born on 8-3-26. Their litter didn’t do well and bottle feeding 3 has become not the best situation for our busy life. But they will need to be on the bottle for 3 or so more weeks. If anyone is interested in these bottle babies send us a msg for info. These are full size meat pigs. Dark red is intact male (can cut) and lighter one is female.

This is what happens when your sow has 12 I repeat 12 babies and for some reason decides to check out on being a mother. You end up with 8 dead and one “ missing”. We pretty sure after today she ate it. But not everything about raising animals is pretty. But these littles are gorgeous. We made the decision after losing over half of the original number to pull these from our sow. She will enter the cull program. Sometimes it’s what you have to do.

Some people have wondered how “big” our pigs will get. 5 gallon bucket for scale. We are raising pigs for the folks that want to know what they are eating.
