Farming Feels Good We are a 150 year old family farm. We are are cow/calf operation with between 30 and 40 cows. We also grow a couple of acres of pumpkins each year.

This started as a way for me to earn money for college and has no continued for 40+ years.

Ever wonder where your time goes? When we bought this skid loader it had 315 hours on it. I am the only one on the farm who operates it so all 840 odd hours are my time. 99% of them loading the manure spreader.

Prepping for winter.  No need for these hay wagons so we stack them and store them inside until next hay season.

Anyone else have trouble keeping the deer out of the patch? They have eaten at least a couple of dozen pumpkins and damaged many others. The crop of weeds that took over isn't helping. They provide great cover.
