2 competitions down with 1 to go. We did fairly well at Erie county fair and better after some revisions for Wyoming county fair!

We always say it's a team effort here between Jim and I but I dont believe we give enough credit to our parents at times! Big Jim always holds down the sugarhouse and has everything ready for us on a day to day and bottles a lot of syrup for us, and my mom is always bagging candy and designing stuff for us to use. So all credit goes to her for "Our" Grand Champion display of Maple products at the Wyoming County Fair!! She hand painted and antiqued all the crate artwork you can see! If you get a chance to swing by the fair be sure to check it out!

A few long days and late nights in a row but we have our entries ready for Erie County Fair! Looking to continue our success against some very stiff competition. We wish everyone particpating the best of luck and encourage all of you to stay tuned for results at the end of this week!!

We spent last Friday and Saturday in Eden, VT at Goodrich's Maple Farm showcasing Becker pumps. We even got to see the 130,000 tap operation boil for the last couple times of the season.
