*I did steal all but 1 photo from another post*
On Tuesday, Kelly Zuehlk from A Little Dirt and I volunteered at Lapeer County’s Project RED, sponsored by Michigan Farm Bureau. We talked to 3rd graders about bees. 🐝 We took 1 frame from a hive and put it in an observatory box. The kids got to listen to and feel the vibrations from the bees, touch drawn out frames, apply wax to foundations, taste honey, and ask us questions until they were forced to the next station. We had a lot of fun, Lapeer County FFA did a good job of organizing the event!
