The guys got the mx285 engine out yesterday . Old one loaded up and sitting next to the Cummins reman to get everything switched over. Thanks to clay at birkeys in Williamsport for getting all the parts here. 😎Birkey's Farm Store

Work going on in shop and field. Been awhile since I posted. New radiator and hoses in a kenworth semi, with a new ac condenser. New radiator and hydraulic cooler going in a caterpillar dozer. Also wanted to introduce our new employee Karson Wolf. He started about 2 months ago and is really catching on to our operation and working out great. He’s on the forklift picture 😎 had some wiring issues on a 6.0 powerstroke. A bobcat skid steer with a broken fuel tank pick up tube. Brakes , bearings, and wheel seals on a semi. Ac plugged evaporator on a Peterbilt. A clutch getting rebuilt on a 4430 with new hubs, plates, and discs. Plus a reman Cummins engine getting put into a MX285 tractor.

More work going on in shop. The 4430 engine is finally going together after some parts delays. A rv getting fully serviced and air conditioning repaired. A John Deere 7230 with a pto gear failure., little bit of carnage in there😳! A forklift getting a new starter and hydraulic steering leak repaired. The Cummins engine for the cat excavator repower is almost all dressed out. Waiting on drive and mounts. Thanks to all our customers for the opportunity to repair their equipment 😎

Some work going on in shop and field. Komastu excavator with injection pump shaft failure. Got a rebuilt pump from Scheid and 6 new injectors with new fuel filters. John Deere little 870 with clutch bad. Getting new clutch, bearings, and clutch fork. Ford new holland getting a complete engine and dash harness from a fire that happened. The 4430 out of frame is on engine stand and ready. New injectors, pucks, seals, and tubes in a IH VT365 engine. Also all the oil rail bolts were heli coiled and loosened up. We drilled and put heavy keenzerts in for future repair. Thanks for work from our dedicated customers 😎

Lot going on in shop and field even with some rainy weather delays. An old Steiger getting some increase in fuel pressure with a new button. Old timers will know what’s going on here 🙃. New shaft in pto for a bush hog mower. IH tractor with some leaks and a clutch cylinder getting rebuilt. 4430 John Deere was getting an in frame overhaul , but camshaft bad ,so now it’s out of frame. An Ingersol Rand excavator that won’t start when cold , yes that’s different and unusual 🤷. Cat dozer getting new radiator and hydraulic oil cooler plus all new undercarriage. And a John Deere 7800 dumping coolant into the oil pan☹️.

Planter and tractor work this week. A John Deere 8420 with codes and no steering. Had some critter chew some wires and be a nuisance. A John Deere planter with a bad valve in transport mode. Caterpillar backhoe with a line and cylinder repair. 4 new tires installed on a 1770NT John Deere planter . And a Ingersol Rand excavator for some work in shop. Also a John Deere track tractor with a cracked line at hydraulic pump.

Some work going in shop. Case backhoe getting 7 hydraulic cylinders getting rebuilt. A bobcat skid steer getting serviced and a couple lift cylinders rebuilt. John Deere 4320 with a hydraulic pto leak, a John Deere 4430 getting load shaft bushings and seals with a new water pump and belts. And a track tractor getting some electrical and hydraulic repairs.
