We managed to harvest yesterday between storms to offer you fresh bouquets as we head toward the weekend. Our sunflowers are still producing well. Stop in and see our bicolored, fluffy and traditional-colored blooms!

We also have purple, bronze and multicolored mums in the shed.

Welcome September! 🍁

This week in the shed you will find mixed sunflower bouquets, individual sunflower stems and mums!

Our mums come in 10” pots and are $10 each. Today we have purple, dark bronze and mixed. Our bronze and yellow mums are still working on blossoms, so we will let you know when they are available.

One comment that we consistently hear from customers is how long our flowers stay fresh. The flowers pictured here were harvested six days ago and still look beautiful! We have heard customers say that our arrangements have lasted nearly two weeks.

For freshest flowers at home:
-keep clean water in vase
-remove leaves from the water
-add flower food provided with the bouquet
-some flowers fade earlier than others. Just take out any spent flowers and enjoy the rest!

While our flowers can last for weeks—we typically compost flowers from an unsold bouquet that has been on the stand for three days. This way, you get the freshest flowers to take home and enjoy.

We are well into August and some fall colors are popping up in the field. You’ll find burnt orange rudbekia and purple tinged sunflowers in some of the bouquets today. Stop in and grab a sunflower bouquet or some individual sunflower stems to brighten your weekend!
