Happy farmers day to all the farmers out there from the small operation to the large operations Thanks for all you do a lot has changed over the years in equipment , seed , techniques and general practices but the hard work, long hours, missed events and commitment to doing better has not wavered at all. Fall lateral installation has been moving along well after the rain we’ve had the last couple of weeks.

Good conditions, steady progress, and 3” laterals going in the ground across the field.

Harvest season means long days, heavy equipment and a lot more activity in the fields and on the roads. In 2024, crop production recorded 188 fatal work injuries nationwide - with transportation incidents accounting for more than half of them. Whether you’re behind the wheel, in the field or sharing the road with farm equipment, slow down, stay alert and give yourself and others plenty of space.

A few extra minutes are always worth making sure everyone gets home safely. Stay safe this harvest season.
