Miniature Herefords

We are excited to work with our community to help boys and girls learn about raising a miniature hereford and showing them the values and responsibilities it takes to maintain a healthy and profitable Hereford. We have found that most kids are initially intimidated but quickly adapt to working with their miniature hereford and eventually become more loyal to their responsibilities and excited to start the training process of walking the hereford with a holster and becoming familiar with the cow's habits as well the cow becomes accustomed to being lead by its owner. This builds a positive and productive mindset for these kids and offers them an opportunity to interact with others as they see first hand the results of their hard work and the bond that they build with their miniature hereford as they work towards the big show at the local fair.
