Hey guys!
We are looking to expand our operation for the 2026 season and beyond! If you have farm ground in Piatt, Douglas, Moultrie, Macon, or Champaign counties, we would love to have the opportunity to work with you. We are willing to pay competitive cash rent, do 50/50 crop shares or custom farm your ground. We will take care of the ground like it’s our own. Roadsides will be maintained, as well. We can also work with you on tiling your fields. Our intention is to never take land from anyone else who is currently farming, but if you’re in need of a caretaker for your land, we are happy to help!
A Little Bit About Us:
Henningsen Farms is a 7th generation family farm in Atwood, Illinois. We are three brothers that have grown up farming with our father and grandfather. This heritage has instilled a passion for farming when we were young. We are hoping to build our farm operation so that we are able to pass down this farming legacy to our children and the generations to come. We know the Lord has good things in store for us!
Regenerative agriculture is our highest priority. We work hard to improve the health of the soil that we are blessed with. We practice strip tilling, winter cover cropping and no till, along with some conventional practices.
