To bond with others, horses scratch each other with their mouths. To us, that's a painful bite, so instead Tobi knows he should chomp the air instead!

My favorite reclusive swamp denizen, the American Bittern! Check this guy out. The weird noises he makes are so cool.

Meet Catorat, 16.3 1/2hh, dark bay TB available to a professional home or a good riding amateur/junior working with a pro/trainer (currently not appropriate for a beginner or someone who has never restarted a TB). This guy is in your pocket, big, beefy, stunning, and has straight legs with superb conformation to do absolutely anything your sport demands. His breeder/owner kept him after retiring sound from his race career, and just asked us to get him restarted for sale as she is in her 80's. We have put some time into him for her, and are ready to find him a new zip code. Sweet and friendly. In daily work and learning rapidly. No known injuries or limitations. Currently low low 5's and will increase with education. Located in AuSable Forks, NY (between Lake Placid and Plattsburgh).

Career race record: 6 starts: 1 win, 2 seconds, 1 third, with lifetime earnings of $66,805. Last start August 23, 2020.

DM for more info! Call or text if you want to get to me faster 8am-6pm: (518) 222 0509 so your message doesn't get lost in the shuffle.

About living with beavers... instead of having our beaver dam removed to avoid flooding, I decided to live and let live. As such, when I personally fenced in 20 some-odd acres of pasture last year with the assistance of the USDA Grasslands program, and a few good friends and my kids helping out for a few hours here and there, I had to condemn some lower areas near the river that were previously pasture. Now I'm grateful that I completed this labor of love - because not only are the wild birds, frogs, and turtles living on the property even more amazing and diverse, but there are adorable young beavers with their ridiculous wide tails popping back into the stream as we pass during our trail rides. I have seen otters here too from time to time, and hope with the increased native trout population from the improvement in water quality, the eagles will be back.

First Saratoga horse show in the books! We had a great time. I did Lio in the baby baby greenest of green hunters so she can start learning that job, and she was delightful to ride as always, landing every lead by the final trip. Congratulations to everyone who went and hope to see you out there again soon! Thank you so much to Lanna Argentieri, who was as amazing as always, getting everything done before I had to ask, making sure our student was on time for his classes, and his horse (and mine, and her own) was groomed to perfection. A great start to our show season!

Snuggled into his bed, warm inside, Bandit wonders why on earth we went running around outside at 5am to get those ponies into their stalls before the temps dipped into the negatives. Everyone is as snug as a bug in a rug now, not just the farm dog!

Sending out a very warm welcome home to our very own Lanna Argentieri!!! Here she is playing with her favorite boy in a small grid. She's back from University and we are SO happy to have her back!
