Shorty’s Caboy Hattery has been part of our journey for quite a while now, and they’ve always made sure the whole family looks their best when it matters most.

We’re grateful to have them along for every ride!

Way to go, Manon!

A great ride from TMRH Assistant Trainer, Manon Fontaine, and her mount, BHB Wimpys Starlord!

Manon Fontaine Claims Intermediate Open [1] Co-Championship on BHB Wimpys Starlord

Manon Fontaine’s Intermediate Southwest Reining Horse Association Open [1] Co-Championship was preeminently special because she precipitated the breeding of BHB Wimpys Starlord, a 9-year-old gelding she has owned since he was born. She also trained the buckskin son of BHB Mr Wimpy Royal and BHB Katberry Stargun that scored a 72.5 to earn nearly $440.

“This win just proves that no matter how old he gets, he’ll still try his heart out for me,” she said.

Fontaine says her horse loves the stops and circles and described his circles as “flying.” She said, “He’s just amazing. You can just trust him, and he’ll be there for you. He always tries so hard for me, every time!”

Fontaine’s family owns both the standout gelding’s parents and has shown his sire in Europe. In fact, she flew BHB Wimpys Starlord to the U.S. when she moved here.

Fontaine compared the son to the father, saying, “They both have big hearts! The sire had more turn than him, but he has so much stop and circles that it makes up for it. Both are incredible horses to show. I love and enjoy both of them.”

She thanked her team at Tom McCutcheon Reining Horses, her parents, and her partner, Jimmy.

Just a few days left to book to Its All About Ruf at a DISCOUNTED RATE!

Another win on his resume, and another reason he's a great choice this breeding season!

Congratulations, Taylor & TJ!

Taylor Zimmerman & Its All About Ruf Top Non Pro [1] Class at SWRHA Futurity & Horse Show

For Taylor Zimmerman, every time she gets to show Its All About Ruf, lovingly called “T.J.” is a dream come true. “There isn’t a single thing about T.J. that doesn’t make him special,” she shared. “He’s genuinely the best horse I’ve ever swung a leg over. He’s taken me everywhere I could possibly imagine. He’s been my steady eddy for the past seven years.”

At the SWRHA Futurity & Horse Show, the dynamic duo scored a 72.5 to win the Non Pro [1] class and $833. The palomino is by Not Ruf At All out of Dun Pretty Nifty.

“I just did a really light warm-up today, because I only wanted to school-show in preparation for showing him at the Futurity,” Zimmerman explained. “He’s just so honest in the show pen; he did it again for me today.”

The win bolstered them even closer to the goal of earning a Non Pro World Title this year. If they reach that goal, Zimmerman intends to move T.J. to the ranch riding arena and give him a break from reining, as this was the twelfth show for the 10-year-old stallion.

She thanked her parents, grandfather, her family, her boyfriend, and the team at Tom McCutcheon Reining Horses. “Pretty much everybody, always, for every run, good or bad,” she concluded with a smile.

For the McCutcheon horses, it’s pumpkin spice season all year round! Thanks to Kelcie’s Horse Treats, our horses get to enjoy a little taste of fall no matter the season.

Another strong ride for TM assistant trainer Desire Kelts and Jacs Shiney Pistol, better known as “Canada!”

Desire is the definition of a hard worker and dedication, putting in the hours day in and day out to make moments like these possible. We could not be prouder to see her efforts paying off in the show pen!

The future is bright for this talented duo, and we are excited to see just how far they go!

This fancy buckskin mare is proudly owned by Manon and her mother, Valérie Fontaine. It is so rewarding to see all of their hard work coming together in the show pen!

The future is looking bright for this TM Team duo, and we cannot wait to see what is ahead!
