We’re incredibly grateful to the UC Cooperative Extension for inviting Jared to be a guest speaker at their Beef Carcass Award Dinner last week! 🥩
Jared had the opportunity to share his experience as a butcher and give the students a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to take a beef carcass from the rail all the way to the retail case — the cuts, the process, and all the work that happens in between.
For a guy who is much more comfortable standing behind a cutting block than standing in front of a crowd, getting up there and speaking was definitely a step outside his comfort zone! 😂 But we couldn’t be more proud of him for sharing his knowledge and experience with the next generation of people entering the beef industry.
It was truly an honor to be invited, and Jared was grateful for the opportunity to share a little bit of what he loves to do every day.
