Winnie the Pooh said it best. โHow lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.โ Looking back on the first Honey Fest in 2021 where I only had a tiny corner in my shop to where am now is truly humbling. The first festival we only expected a few hundred people and were overwhelmed with the support and attendance of over 1,000!
Starting my business was a learning experience that I am so thankful to have had. My FFA advisors, family and friends were always there to offer guidance and help. And, Iโve met some of the most AMAZING customers and I will always cherish those friendships! But, growth brings changes and I am excited and ready for this new journey! As many of you know, I have now graduated from college, started my career and getting married in December.
While Iโm not ready to say there wonโt be another Honey Fest, keeping Saturday store hours and my Christmas events will not be feasible. With that said, you will find most items in the shop reduced on Saturday.
So, come out and enjoy Honey Fest year 5 with โThe Hive After Fiveโ!!! Enjoy dinner from one of our food trucks, shop our local vendors, buy some honey and listen to the best Bluegrass band around.
I look forward to seeing each of you this Saturday! And, thank you again for 5 years of support and encouragement. ๐๐ฏ
