$100,000 donated, one apple at a time. 🍎❤️

Since 2020, BriarPatch has donated a portion of the proceeds from every apple sold to our Apples for Gardens program. That commitment has now grown to $100,000 in donations from the Co-op to local organizations building and growing gardens in our community.

To celebrate reaching this milestone, we made a special donation of apples to Community Roots School Food Services Agency, which prepares school meals for local kids. Those apples became these delicious apple pancake bars, showing just one of the ways collaborative support can make its way from the co-op to the community.

Thank you for helping us keep the good growing!

🍂 Fall calls for something cozy, fragrant and seriously delicious.

Our Instant Pot Chicken Biryani checks all the boxes, with tender chicken thighs, aromatic spices and fluffy rice coming together in one comforting dish. It’s the kind of recipe that fills the kitchen with incredible smells and makes a chilly evening feel a whole lot warmer.

Even better? Select chicken thighs are on sale through Sept. 7, so it’s a great time to give this one a try.
