Home of the Mill Creek IEA Team Jordan Schmidt has almost 20 years of horse experience in hunters, jumpers, and equitation.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with an emphasis in Equine Health Management from UGA in 2011. Her students are currently competing on the local hunter/jumper circuit as well as in IEA for the Mill Creek High School IEA Team. Contact Jordan at:

Tu Fox Farm is seeking an AM barn worker Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday.

This is currently a TEMPORARY position due to recent surgery and hospitalization, but could become a permanent position for the right person. Would love someone who is able to do this at least thru August.

Duties Required:
🐴 Cleaning stalls. 15 total stalls, but normally less than 10 stay in overnight. Overnight stalls need full clean and then going through the other stalls afterwards.
🐴 Adding shavings to stalls as needed after cleaning.
🐴 Dumping/refilling stall water buckets. This is done 2-3 times each day so major cleaning generally not required. Normally it’s a quick wipe/dump/rinse/refill.
🐴 Refilling hay nets. We have mostly whole-bale hay nets, so this means you just have to place the net over an entire bale and hang in the stalls.
🐴 Blowing/sweeping/raking after stalls are finished.
🐴 Checking 3 outside water troughs and dump/scrub/rinse/refill as needed.

Optional Duties:
🦄 AM Feeding and Turn in/out

Job takes less than 3 hours on average for experienced workers. Not a live-in situation.

Fun weekend at H.J. Fox !

☀️ Candy Corn and Dixie were Reserve Champion in Short Stirrup Equitation. Dixie was also Hobby Horse Derby winner!
☀️ Golden Redemption owned by Kerri McMahon and Emily are Reserve Champion in Child/Am Jumpers, Champion in TIP Jumpers, and Weekend TIP High Point Jumper
☀️ Northern Lights PL and Sierra were Reserve Champion in Crossrail Hunters and Crossrail Equitation
☀️ Southern Sassafras owned by Elaina Nicolini and Megan were 5th in the Sagamore Stables Derby on Friday with scores of 77 in the Classic and 81 in the handy and Reserve Champion in Low Adult 2’3” Hunters and Equitation Divisions

Looking forward to bring back in September!

🍀 Finnegan and Libby were 3rd in the $500 Sagamore Stables Derby, Winners of the HJ Fox Equitation Challenge, Reserve Champion Saturday of Pre-Adult Hunters, Champion Saturday in the combined Pre-Child/Adult Hunters, 2nd in the $250 Barrow Vet Handy Hunter Classic, Winners of the Pre-Child/Adult Medal, and Winners of the Magnolia Farm Classic with a score of 85
🍀 Illegally Blonde and Mackenzie were Winners in the Optimum Time Jumpers and 3rd in the Intermediate Equitation Challenge
🍀 Northern Lights PL and Sierra were Reserve Champion in Adult Beginner Flats, Champion Saturday of Sr/Ad Crossrails, Reserve Champion Sunday of Sr/Ad Crossrails, 3rd in the Fox Sunday Classic, and Winners of the Sr/Ad Medal
🍀 Peekablue and Emily were Winners of the $500 Countryside Veterinary Services Welcome, Champion in .80m Jumpers, and 3rd in the Fox Sunday Classic
🍀 The Keeper and Megan played in the Progressive and .70m jumper classes with good ribbons and even better lessons learned as they both push their comfort zones out of the Hunter Ring

🥇 Carly won her Individual JV Beginner WT Flat class to advance to National Finals in St. Louis next month!
