Folls' Flowers

Folls' Flowers Folls Flower Farm was established in 2000. Our goal since then has been to create beautiful bouquets for homes, offices, weddings and parties.

We grow and sell cut flowers for our CSA, for weddings and parties and sympathy work too. Our season runs from May to October for our field cut flowers. We also provide evergreen centerpieces and vases for Christmas from our farm grown greens. We try to be totally responsible for our actions and provide a great place for our wild animal and insect friends to live.

Did you know that if you cut the main head of cabbage and leave the outer leafs you get three or four more baby cabbages? They are single serving size and very tender and tasty!

I had a phone call earlier in the week from Dori who wanted to know if I could make some bouquets for her as her mother's funeral was Sunday. We ended up making four urns and she bought loose flowers to make twelve vases for tables. Gazing upon and creating bouquets when one is feeling sad is a real blessing. Flowers ease hurt and pain, they are truly soul food.

I lived in Japan for a few months back in 1972. I loved the temple gardens with the lovely iris and Koi filled ponds. When we bought the farm in 1999 one of the first things we did was to have a pond dug for irrigation and for our fish. We have lost quite a few of them over the years but we have a young crop of fish now. The great blue herons really appreciate it!
