The "high point for the season" point system rewards teamsters for going to several shows. The points will be tabulated after the Clay County show and awards will be given at the Championship show in New Virginia on October 4th.
The Championship Show is a chance for all the top teams to meet in one place to compete head to head. The slate is wiped clean and everyone is equal at the beginning of the New Virginia show.
I'll write a check for the champion and reserve of each division for the "High point of the season" and "Championship show". $100 for adults and $50 for youth. Do with it what you want. You can keep the cash or buy an award of your choosing.
Rural Heritage Magazine has donated a magazine subscription, Wall Calendar, Desk Calendar, and Appointment calendar and a set of "America's Rural Yesterday"books.
Alex Baker with Belgian Hill Mfg has donated a neck yolk and double tree.
I will donate a set of "America's Rural Yesterday "books and two gift certificates from "My Draft Horse" super store.
Everyone who enters the Championship show in New Virginia will have their name put in a hat and these awards will be drawn at random to hand out.
Please thank and support our sponsors that make this event possible.
