The season of BIG changes.
At times, Abbee and I have felt in a holding pattern in life. Remaining faithful and patient, but praying for clear direction.
This new season of life finds us in monumental changes for our family.
Our oldest, Bennett, returned from Diesel mechanic school and quickly got a job excelling in his passion. Recently he has decided to seek further education and interviewed at the to enhance his knowledge and continue to add clarity to his ultimate career path. He joins under the leadership of some outstanding faculty and friends who have been so gracious with their time making sure our boys get in the right places.
Myles surprised us all last week when, after a whirlwind tour, he decided to change his plans and attend in the fall. The tour of the campus and visits with staff absolutely blew us all away. He’s excited to study Animal Science and pursue the goal of being part of their judging team.
Paxton got his learning permit and has grown incredibly in his academics and shooting team this year. He continues with flight school this summer.
Marydith has been fun to watch and she has changed so much this year. She has grown in confidence and has a great group of friends. She started shooting trap this year and has found this sport a great new challenge to participate in outside of school.
Truthfully, I can’t stand long posts like this…
But, I share to give a glimpse into our front room and perhaps share why we have backed off of social media so much. While we aren’t perfect, we are trying to stay “in” the moments. These moments are fleeting and even while building this post I can’t help but think of how I may have missed something that I can’t get back. I am trying to be as present at home as I have often been with you all, showing you our program.
Thank you for coming along, thank you for supporting our family, and thank you for choosing our program.
p.s. We attended a Dave Stamey concert at one of the ranches we lease and it was incredible, if you’re ever given the opportunity, Dave is a must see!
