As farmers ourselves, we enjoy opportunities to share with our community knowledge about what we do and this is a perfect place to come learn! The mobile dairy experience is just awesome and has something for all ages. The Union Springs FFA teacher just happens to also work part time at Half Acre and she has brought so much energy and enthusiasm to ag awareness in our school system. Thank you Alyssa!

FINALLY…the weather has turned a corner and it’s not too late to put in a vegetable or herb garden! We have a great selection of vegetable plants including tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, squash, eggplant, and more in single or multi-packs at reasonable prices. There are even hanging baskets tomatoes and strawberries already fruiting! Plenty of bedding flowers and hanging baskets as well to add color to your landscape.
Thanks to some sunshine and good help at the market and the farm, we have been able to get most of our May planting caught up in just a week! 😊🪏🌱
