Herrera Ranch We raise grass-fed beef. All of our calves are born and raised here on our ranch, and allowed to graze and grow naturally.

Since 1909, five generations of the Herrera family have been raising quality livestock in the rolling foothills of Auburn, California. We do not use antibiotics, steroids, pesticides or growth hormones. We strive to put weight on our animals the old fashioned way. We allow them to free graze, unstressed and unpenned. We do not use feed with chemical preservatives or animal byproducts. All our supplemental and finish feeds are pesticide and GMO free. Our replacement cows are purchased only through other like-minded cattle families. We do not purchase auction or penned animals. Our mission is to produce to most naturally raised beef that we can, while generating the lowest amount of carbon miles possible. Decrease your carbon footprint, eat locally grown!
