As many of you know, my roots in The Farmers Marketplace and the Gold Country Food Hub, started after I left my corporate career in information, technology, branding & marketing and corporate finance to spend eight years farming on my 10 acre property known as Lincoln Hills Farm. I sold the farm in 2020 and being in the midst of a pandemic, instead of pursuing my dream of world travel, I decided to focus on growing the business of our food hub.
Six years later, my team is working at the hub today, heading out to deliver locally sourced, organic produce to several of our school districts and I get to have a little time here with another small crew as we start back into the business of farming. A do over, taking everything I learned from the first round and remembering the joy that comes through the process of growing food for our community. I am in my happy place!
