Last week, the inaugural and current cohorts of the Office of Catholic Education (OCE) Leadership Academy, comprised of OCE leadership and Secondary and Special Education school administrators, had the opportunity to give back during a Day of Service volunteering at a Catholic Charities of Philadelphia Ministry, , in Audubon (Montgomery County).

Sixteen individuals serving the ministry of Catholic Education participated in the first cohort from March 2025 - April 2026. The second cohort began in May 2026.

Catholic Charities of Philadelphia’s Martha’s Community Farm grows culturally meaningful food for Martha’s Choice Marketplace, Montgomery County’s largest food pantry. Nearly 17,000 individuals visit the pantry annually with community farm contributions growing 20,000 lbs of produce each year. Thank you for hosting this wonderful day of service! ❤️🚜🧑‍🌾🤝🌱

The wait is over! Our sweet potatoes are coming out of the ground after many months of growth. Thank you to Gwynedd Mercy Academy HS Father’s Club, St. Joseph's Prep School freshman, La Salle College High School freshman and of course our Tuesday volunteer crew who volunteered their time to digging out sweet potatoes! 🍠
