Deep gratitude to the people and businesses in Augusta that are helping lift our city up after Hurricane Helene. A cocktail seems like such a simple pleasure, but without refrigeration… it’s simply out of reach. Tonight I raise my glass to Abel Brown Southern Kitchen & Oyster Bar. Faced with their own losses, they haven’t forgotten about the rest of us. Todd and his crew have been trucking in ice for the community. Think that’s no big deal? Try not seeing an ice cube for an entire week. A week with no power. A week with no water. I can assure you it’s an absolute luxury, and I am most grateful. Cheers to you, Todd.
