Yaya’s Philippine Cuisine

Yaya’s Philippine Cuisine Filipino Food Food plays a major role in promoting a country’s national identity and culture. Filipinos are outgoing and sociable people who love to gather.

Drawing from a rich cultural history and diversity of flavors, aroma, and color that make up Filipino cuisine, Yaya’s Philippine Cuisine is sure to bring to your table a one of a kind experience. Having been plagued with the idea that there are no Filipino Restaurants in our area, Yaya’s Philippine Cuisine was born. It not only aims to promote and encourage greater appreciation for Filipino cookin

g traditions but it also aims to showcase the unique flavors of the Philippines right in the comfort of your own home. Food is often the center of many celebrations bringing families together. This is the very reason why our business is called Yaya’s Philippine Cuisine, it was inspired by family, my grandson, who has called me Yaya since he was very little. Lola in the Filipino language means grandmother, but he at the time, could only pronounce Yaya. The name Yaya brought a lot of joy in me and what a better way to share that same good feeling than to serve food prepared with love and seasoned with happiness. It has always been a dream of mine to share the rich flavors of the Philippines, and finally after retiring from a full time job, I am ready to advocate the Filipino culture. I believe that for someone to truly appreciate our culture, one has to experience our food. Yaya’s Philippine Cuisine for starters will feature traditional Filipino dishes, characterized by the combination of flavors - salty, sweet, and tangy. The famous Chicken Adobo, Pansit Noodles, Lumpia, and Pork Barbecue on a stick will be available on Pre-orders for pick-up as well as for Grab n Go from our shelves. It is also our goal to satisfy your yearnings for traditional Filipino food and for everyone to sample the wide variety of Filipino Cuisine that we are very proud of. So, if you have a particular dish in mind, aside from our staple menu, Yaya’s Philippine Cuisine would gladly prepare it for you. We are looking forward to serving you and satisfying your cravings, the Filipino way! Yaya’s Philippine Cuisine would definitely serve you good food to give you a good mood! MABUHAY!

Filipino Pancit…
This dish symbolizes longevity and is traditionally served during special occasions like birthdays and holidays. No birthday celebration is complete without it. There’s a number of variations ,can be vegetarian, or with meat, or shrimp, but however you cook it, it’s definitely a nice way to wish someone a long, healthy life with this delicious specialty.

Restocked our shelves with your usual favorites. Something new ?
Fresh frozen chicken eggrolls in packs of 4. Please ask our staff for dipping sauce. It was an oversight on my part that I forgot to put the sauces in the shelves last time. I’m so sorry for that. I really mean it.

Hey y’all! Hope everyone is enjoying the cooler weather.
We’re restocking our grab and go shelves this morning with a lot of good stuff that you asked us to prepare.
New in our menu this week is our fabulous fried rice paired with mouth-watering pork chop marinated in our special homemade sauce. Try this one out and you won’t get disappointed, but don’t take too long, cause it’s very limited.
And like an old song that we love to hear over and over, you never get tired asking us to prepare our most famous PhiIppine National dish, the chicken adobo. We don’t get tired cooking it for you over and over either, and the most yummy thing we do is pairing them with steamed white jasmine rice.😋.
What else is in the shelf? Well, guess no more! You know we won’t leave out your favorite pansit noodles matched with 2 finger-lickin’ pork barbecue sticks. This pair never disappoints, and don’t last long either.
And lastly, Biko, a Filipino dessert made from sticky white rice, coconut cream, and brown sugar is in the house. Give it a try.
And just fyi, we don’t use MSG. 🥰
Oh, by the way, we have a few fresh frozen lumpia in a pack of 7 and they’re 8 inches long lumpias you can fry in your home with cooking instructions. Of course, you can cut them any length you want 😝.
Please browse through the pictures of this week’s yummy menu. They’ll be ready for you today at

We loaded the grab and go shelves today with your favorites, so come by and pick you up some. New items this week, as I promised, are packed/ sealed fresh frozen lumpias with easy cooking instructions.
Banana plantains in caramelized brown sugar is for dessert.
For consecutive weeks, we ran out of pork bbq on sticks, so we made more this time but hurry, they won’t last too long.
Pansit noodles and chicken adobo are the regulars that you come back for, so we’re not leaving those out.
Yaya’s shelves are full, so come and get some while they last…
As always, we appreciate your support and we hope that you enjoy the experience of Filipino cuisine.

Hello, everyone!!! Hope you’re all enjoying the Labor Day weekend, and I’m here just reminding you of our event, Meet and Greet on September 9, 2022 from 4pm to 6pm.
We want to take the opportunity to meet you and tell you more about the small food business we started featuring the most favorite staple Filipino foods. It is not a dine-in restaurant, like some of my friends asked, but rather we prepare food and stock them in what we call Grab and Go shelves and/or preorder and pickup on specified dates. It is new for many, but quite exciting for me and the other food businesses who cook and share the kitchen at OPP KITCHEN.
We are so happy to have the chance to join the other food businesses in the CSRA, each featuring their own unique food specialties.
As for Yaya’s, we’ll be featuring Filipino foods and on September 9, will be giving free samples of Filipino chicken adobo, Pansit, Pork Barbecue on sticks, and Lumpia Shanghai.
We can’t wait to see and meet you all! Come check us out and sample some good food.🥰😍😊
