FOR SALE $500 obo. I'd hate to see him go but I am looking to sell my Dexter bull soon to anyone interested. He is not registered but perfect for a homesteader or small family farm that is not concerned with breeding registered animals. He is 5 years old and very docile and I have had no problems with aggression or testing fences. Despite being half the size of standard cows he is very strong and still commands respect.

I am only selling him because I want to upgrade to a registered bull here soon and I want to AI my hereford cows for next calving season. He is capable of breeding full size cows and his son is pictured here (left photo). I have taken hair samples and testing is pending for chondrodysplasia (dwarfism gene) and PHA. If you are not breeding to a Chondro Dexter female there is no concern. Will haul for a reasonable distance if neccessary.

Hello! This is Dimitre Harmon and I am working toward my Eagle Scout rank. My goal is to raise enough money through our troop fundraisers to pay for my entire Scout year of activities. Summer camp is my favorite event.

Please take a minute to consider supporting my Scouting career through the purchase of Trail's End Popcorn. Currently, they are offering free shipping. I would also greatly appreciate it if you would share this link to your Facebook friends.

Sincerely,

Dimitre Harmon

Kitten Rescue!

This past Friday we discovered four abandoned kittens. Two of the kittens were in a lawnmower bag and fortunately they made some noise right before the bag was attached to the mower. The other two were found behind a cabinet in the lawn mower shed. One of the kittens did not make it and another one is barely hanging on. We named him Lazarus, because it will be a miracle from God if he makes it. We are off to the Vet tomorrow to for checks up and shots.

After a weekend of feeding every 3 to 4 hours, two of the kittens have moved onto dry food and have started using the litter box, while Lazarus still requires bottle feeding.

We are hoping someone would be interested if fostering the two kittens who are on dry food until they are big enough to go back to the barn, or hopefully, someone wants to adopt them.

Here are some pictures.
